About Hannah - From Student to Tutor
My educational journey started in my childhood home in Sydney where I was exposed to tutoring through the Kumon math program. Although I was sometimes reluctant to finish the many booklets, I can look back on those countless nights spent sat in front of my dining table fondly. These nights cemented in me the habit of dedication and was essential to building the foundations of my future education.
Preparing for the Opportunity Class (OC) and Selective School exams was a pivotal chapter in my life. Between completing Excel workbooks and engaging in tutoring sessions, my parents instilled in me a laser focus to reach my goals. The challenges I faced during this time taught me resilience and showed me the importance of personalized educational support. One of my first selective school tutors had this incredible way of making seemingly boring topics sounds interesting and helpful in my day to day life. She taught me cool tips and tricks, and further ignited my love of learning. My positive experience in tutoring during this often stressful period of preparing for tests, helped me realised the vitality of a personal touch in tutoring and sparked my interest in making hard topics fun for others in the future.
After years of preparation, I had finally made it. To 11 year old Hannah this was it, what her years of preparation had built up to – getting into a Selective School. At Baulkham Hills High School, I learnt along side likeminded peers and of course, worked for the first time. I started to assist and teach at my local tuition centers where I was exposed to many different age groups of students ranging from kindergarden to other high school students. Later on, I continued to teach in a private capacity, prioritising making genuine connections to understand each students unique learning needs and adapt my approach accordingly. I can still recall a moment from my first ever student, where she was able to confidently ace her maths exams, after prreviously telling me she felt hestiant and unsure about her capabilities. Instances such as these not only honed my skills as an educator but also deepened my commitment to affecting positive change in students’ lives.
Inspired by these experiences, I founded Aussie Learning Hub with a deep focus on one-on-one interactions that honor and uplift each child’s individual capabilities. Our approach extends beyond test preparation to building confidence, nurturing a passion for learning, and creating a supportive space where every student can reach their highest potential.

More about me
I love all things music with singing and dancing being the main ways I unwind and express myself. When I’m at home, you’ll often find me curled up with a good book or enjoying some anime. I also enjoy crocheting in my spare time.
